Hi! My research focuses on the development of organ-on-a-chip technologies. During my Master’s work, I designed and fabricated a lung-on-a-chip device using a custom-built stereolithographic 3D printer and a biocompatible, diffusion-permissive hydrogel.

For my PhD, I aim to develop a liver-on-a-chip platform that enables high-resolution, label-free imaging of liver endothelial cells. This project involves microfabrication of the device, surface modifications to support cell adhesion and differentiation, and the integration of machine learning for real-time detection of fenestrations in liver sinusoidal endothelial cells (LSECs). The goal is to advance our ability to visualize and monitor the dynamic regulation of these fenestrations.
